About
Ajani is a Singaporean who is pursuing undergraduate studies in Psychology at a local university.
Having a deep interest in continental philosophy, Ajani identifies with the existentialists; Romantics and also Foucauldians. Outside formal philosophy, he also enjoys looking at Buddhism, the goth subculture and life, with a critical mind. He also has more technical interests, like Linux and WordPress.
He is also starting to truly appreciate a scientific attitude towards knowledge, and agreeing with the goals of the modernists and the Enlightenment project. Still, sometimes it appears that there’s a Pandora’s Box he should not have opened though. Hmmm.
He hopes to become either a psychologist in an interesting vocation; a diplomat; a fiction writer; or even an academic, depending on where his mind should take him in the future.
Politically, he leans left.
The Staccato Slur is where Ajani develops his ideas and feelings about things that be and not be, and affirm his worth as a thinker and a writer; it is, as Ajani would say, “a canvas for the written art and a carthasis for the affective mind”.
